I broke my wife's Fiskar scissor after having it for probably 30 years so immediately bought a pair of the exact same set to replace them and get myself out of the doghouse. She makes artwork using fabrics and various paper stock, so they get a workout. I also bought a couple of days later a set of three Scotch Precision Ultra Edge Titanium Scissors for about the same price... I'll update in 30 years and let y'all know how those work out :)

im brand new to sewing and had originally purchased an all metal pair of scissors from amazon, but they were really panful to use. i thought all metal would be better, but i was wrong. after speaking with other seamstresses, i was told to get a softer handled pair. i found these also on amazon and so far so good. they cut fabric easily and dont hurt my hand.

Love these scissors - I bought 4 pair! Great price! My old Fiskars had a slimmer handle and I was afraid the newer model with a slightly different/larger handle wouldn't be comfortable for my small hands, but they are super comfortable.

As usual, the Amazon doom an gloom reviewers initially scared me off. I had a pair of these that were at least twenty-five years old, and the blade had FISKARS USA etched on them. Sadly I tried to cut something that was too thick and the handle broke. Attempts to glue it failed, and these had always been my favorite pair of scissors. Well, in spite of those negative reviewers, I ordered these, and you know what? They were the SAME! A quarter of a century later, the only difference was that it had a phillips head screw on the hinge and the USA engraving was gone. Other than that, they feel and cut like the old ones, and they look like the old ones. It's like having my old pair back, so for right now, I'm VERY happy.

Love these scissors!!! The pair I had for years and years were still as sharp as when I first purchased, but they broke at the screw joint and couldn't be fixed. Ordered these to replace them and certainly not disappointed. Hope to have them for as long as my old ones!

would not buy any other kind. I own several pairs. I am a seamstress at a local textile company and do mending and hemming and I cut 2 pant legs off at once with my Fiskars. The scissors they provide would not do that plus I think I would get carpal tunnel from using theirs...

I’ve tried finding scissors that say sharp and cut nicely for ages. I have so many different pairs and brands, none of them compare to these. They’re sharp, they’ve stayed sharp, cutting straight lines is pretty much effortless (which is usually not an easy thing since I have a tremor), they fit really comfortably in my hand. I love them! My mom had a pair when I was growing up that she was — and still is, she’s had them for about 35 years — incredibly protective of, we knew not to ever use them (she’s left handed so she had that pair which helped) and I never understood why until I got my own pair. I’ve spent a lot more on scissors that don’t come close to these. They’re a great price for a great pair of quality scissors.

This is at least my 3rd pair of Fiskars....one for sewing, one for the office, one for the kitchen. They work so well, and are better than any other scissors I have bought. A big test is cutting cloth, as dull scissors really munge the material. Glad the quality and comfort is still as good as before!

I love a nice sharp pair of scissors when I need one, and there are no better all-purpose scissors than a classic pair of Fiskars. I have used other brands, both more and less expensive, but none have matched the quality of Fiskars. These scissors remain sharp longer, and I have never had the screw that attaches the two blades become loose. I have a pair in my kitchen, in my workshop, in our office, even in the greenhouse. I use different pairs for fabric and paper, as well as for general use such as twine plastic, even flower stems. This way, the separate pairs for fabric and for paper stay sharper longer. The general use pairs are replaced more often, but the cost of replacing them is reasonable. When it comes to a sharp clean cut, I find that Fiskars does the job best.

Just get these scissors. I was lucky enough to pick them up for less than $4 on a lightning sale, but worth double that price for sure. Comfortable, sharp, smooth, strong...the right tool for the job makes life easier.
